Detroit Woman Gets Attacked by Feral Cat.

So this lady was allegedly trying to protect her dog from a stray cat when she got attacked. Maybe that little cat is a dick and picks on the dog. Kicking snow on a cat and kicking it is, in my opinion, not the right way to try and deal with a feral animal. 

I hope she learned a lesson about being overly aggressive with animals and takes time to figure out a better solution to her problems.

A feral cat is a domestic cat that has returned to the wild. It is distinguished from a stray cat, which is a pet that has been lost or abandoned, while feral cats are born in the wild. 

I don't think that people understand that feral animals, be it cats or dogs need to be treated in the same way as any other wild animal.
